Between its tree-lined paths, open green spaces, and that golden-hour warmth that seems to linger longer than anywhere else in the DMV, it's genuinely one of my favorite spots to work. The natural backdrop lets the subject breathe — nothing competes, nothing distracts.
For outdoor sessions specifically, I look for locations that offer variety without requiring a lot of travel. Ashburn delivers that — shade when you need it, open sky when you want drama, texture in the foliage that gives every composition a sense of place.
